ICC interstate Commerce Commision--- if you think someone is doing things illegally in the trade you tell them and then ICC steps in.

Cleveland; undo what R did!2 nonconsecutive terms; South always votes democrats... but now NY and some other N states are now D;not successful bc panic happened under others power but collapsed under his watch, but doesn't matter bc its under his guard

eugene debs. runs what? associated with pullman company? what does he do? kills? American Railroad Union; Pullman makes railroad cars and this is chance for Debs to get support bc if railroads aren't running then pullman falls; shuts down railroads to chicago; kills 7 states

socialist? govt. to control: transportation, fuel, healthcare;to this day: a lot of the union workers and leaders are socialist. want govt. to control it bc they think they'll be fair.union workers HATE private business; federal workers are parts of the union.
populist movement rural ppl are losing farms and want to infuse silver into the economy to make it easier for debtors to pay their debts
