Limited attention span, may be quite unaware of others; unless encouraged to notice others, may ignore the and isolate themselves 18 months to 2 years PARALLEL LEVEL
May express anxiety about working with others, fearing that the other person will take over or they won't be able to complete a task. Focuses more on task than other members of group 2 to 4 yrs PROJECT LEVEL
Participates in group as way to receive rewards and recognition for others and self. Unable to ask for and receive recognition. Still needs support/encouragement from leader. 5-7 yrs EGOCENTRIC-COOPERATIVE LEVEL
Can express own feelings to group & be aware of and responsive to others. Quite autonomous. People more important than task. 9-12 yrs COOPERATIVE LEVEL
Can take on or switch group roles as needed in response to changing group needs 15-18 yrs MATURE LEVEL
