QuestionAnswer
Magna Carta? An old document that limited the power of a English king to follow the laws.
Parliament? A group of nobles who represented the needs of their town/cities/lands of the king of England.
House Of Burgusses? A governing body in the colony of Virginia that was composed of the selected representitives.
MayFlower Compact? A signed document from the pilgrims in old Plymouth saying that because there was no king they would form a government that was run by themselves.
