What is a double jeopardy? Defence that forbids a defendant from being tried again on the same or similar charges.
What is a Fillibuster? Right to extend a debate, many use it when they do not want a bill to be passed.

What was the Social contrat theory? Humans that were born in total freedom, gave up that freedom to the state expecting protection in return.
Define checks and balances.. things that one branch can do to counter another one.
Define Separation of powers.. splitting up the power to keep one from being too powerful.
What is it called when the power rest with the people? Democracy(libral..more government)
A strong central government that runs the state central agency is known as what? Unitary Government
What is a rider? a bill that is added as an amendment to an already approved law
