1. Why did Jews come to America in the 1800? They came to escape economic problems.
2. Frome where did most of the immigrants came? Most of the immgrants came from eastern and southern Europe.
3. What the immigrants could not do when they came to America? They could not speak English and they were unskilled.
4. Who did the immigrants settled with??? The immigrants settled with family members, friends, and other people from the contry or other immigrants.
5. What happened if the immigrants had a relatives in the US? The immigrants and the relatives could sent money to each other.
6. What was the major problem that the immigrants had? The major problem was poverty.
7. What happened when the neighborhoods became more crowded? They needed more city services.
