Why did Jews come to America in the 1800s? They came to escape economic proplems and political problomes.
Where did eairly immigrants come from? Northern Europe.
What did earlier immigrants speek? They spoke English.
What were these immigrants? They were unskilled workers.
What couldn't the immigrants speak? They couldn't speak English
If you had relitives in the US what happened? You sent money home for the boat trip.
What did the relitives offer to do? They offered to help friends from their villiges find a house and a job in America.
What did the immigrants take with them. They took family portrats, a ring, and candle sticks.
