from where did most immigrants come from southeren eurpe ,russia ,poland,and germany.
Where did the eariler immigraants settle in america mosly on farms.
what is the diffrence from earlier immigrants and later immigrants. The earlier immigrants settled on farms and the later ones settled in new york.
if you had relitives in the us what would they do. They would send you money to get to amarica.
What langughe did most immigrants not speak English.
why didn't most immigrants speak English Because in there home country they spoke a diffrent langughe.
where did they live when they came. In overcrowed apartment buildings.
In america did people still suffer from racism yes but it was not as bad as in the other countrys.
what happened when the congress pasted a new law about immigration Immigration slowed down.
why did immigrants come to amrica It was to dangrous in there country if they were jews .Or the reason might be because of proverty.
why couldn't immigrants just buy the ticket to amarica and come on over because there was so much proverty in there home town .
did life get any better for the immigrants once they came to america. yes but life was not perfect.
did everybody make it into america. no because they had to pass eliss island
