QuestionAnswer
How were immigrants who came to the US different from earlier immigrants? Earlier immigrants came from England or Germany and they setted on farms.
After 1910, most immigrants came from where? They came from Southern Europe.
Having relatives in the US was an advantage in what ways? They sent money to Europe and they provided a place for you to live.
With what did Europeans immigrants set off for America. A portrait of their family, vualuable, and a small amount of money.
How was life difficut for immigrants when they first arrived in America? Life was difficult for immigrants because they were poor and they lived in overcrowded tenements.
