A major weakness of the Articles of Confederation? The national government had little power/way to enforce decisions.
Why were people afraid of a strong central government? They did not want one person or group to have all the power.
What was the original goal of the Constitutional Convention? Rewrite the Articles of Confederation
What was the purpose of the Great Compromise? To balance power of large and small states in the Legislative branch of the national government
Why did small states dislike the Virginia Plan? Small states would have less representatives in Congress and large states would have many.

Whose rights do Amendments 5, 6, 7 & 8 protect? People who are accused of crimes or involved in legal disputes
What does the 4th Amendment control? Searches and seizures
To whom does the 10th Amendment give powers not belonging to the federal government? the states
