Korea this was where chemical weaponry was first and lastly used during the Cold War
Washington,D.C. It was the Nation's capital; on the 100th Aniversery of the Emancipation Proclamtion in which there was a very fanous march there in which Marin Luther King encouraged many civil right leaders

Midway Island This was where a crucial battle in the Pacific Theater; and the refueling spot for American ships
New Orleans, LA Major Port for the US
Harlem, New York this was the Renassaince which produced many new works and styles of art
Promontory Point, Utah this was the exact place where the Transontinental Railroad met; (Mrs.Burke went there)
Vietnam This was the last major war that the US took part in.
Germany Hitler was the Dictator of this country in which it is famous for the Holocaust
Wounded Knee, South Dakota This was the battle that determined the ending of the Native Americans exsistance ; Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse were killed at
Italy Not very strong governmentally but strong military
Ethiopia First Country that was invaded by Hitler and was not given any help
Hiroshima, Japan This was the first site where the Atomic Bomb
Phillipines this was a major area in the Pacific Theater
China Hideki Tojo took over a part of it which was called Manchiria but then renamed Manchuko
Panama this was the site of canal that connected the Pacific and Atlanic Oceans which made it easier to travel
Puerto Rico one country gained from Spanish American War which is still a US territory today
Cuba location of Cuban Missile Crisis, 90 miles from US which is still under dictatorship
