What roles did the empresarios play in the Texas Revolution? (what did they do?) Empresarios,or land owners,brought settlers to Texas to live in their colonies. Empresarios usually had to get permission from Spain to make a colony in Texas.

What was the battle that began the Texas Revolution? The battle of Gonzales.

Who was victorious at the battle of the Alamo? The army of Mexico beat the Americans.
