What significance did these battles have towards the independance of Texas? If the American colonists had not fought so hard, we would not have gained our independance from Mexico.

What roles did the empresarios play in the Texas Revolution? (what did they do?) Empresarios,or land owners,brought settlers to Texas to live in their colonies. Empresarios usually had to get permission from Spain to make a colony in Texas.
