QuestionAnswer
My name is Neal Dow and I was born to two quaker parents in Portland Maine On March 20th 1804. I grew up in a home where there was no drinking and no smoking. I stand strongly againts Alcohol and even whine in church.
In 1825 I was a founding Father of the Maine temperance society who attempted to completely bann the consumption and the selling and manufactoring of alcohol.
I volunteered as a firefighter so i didnt have to joiin the militia because you know how filthy and how snockered, drunk, half in the bag, wasted, saused, liquered up, and three sheets to the wind those bastar I mean morons are.
In 1851 i was elected to be mayor of portland Maine and as soon as a temperanece bill was passed i talked to the governer and got it passed through wich was more than i can say for previous bills.
After I passed the bill i undercame massive attention from the entirety of the nation. Yeah Im kinda a big deal around here.=) They call me the Napolean of Temperance.
After I was done being mayor i was put to the position of Colonel of the 13th maine infrantry but was woulded in action and had to go get medical ettention were i was kidnapped and traded for General Lee's Son.
Look at me folks.I was a big man in office, a huge influence in the army and a successful person all because i faught for abstanence of alcohol.
