The introduction to the study of principles

What is Hermeneutics The study of principles by which we interpret God's written word according to it's intended meaning
Interpretation The process of seeking to understand the meaning that God intended to communicate through the words of the biblical author
Exegesis drawing out from the text the meaning that is there

meaning what the author intended to communicate through the text
