TermDefinition
Region An area or division, especially part of a country or the world having definable characteristics but not always fixed boundaries.
Settlement Patterns Distribution of human activities across the landscape and the spatial relationship between these activities.
Adapt Make (something) suitable for a new use or purpose.
Modify Make partial or minor changes to(something), typically so as to improve it or to make it less extreme.
Environment The surrounding or conditions in which a person, animal, or plant lives or operates.
Landform A natural feature of the earth's surface.
Urban In relating to, or characteristic of a town or city.
Suburban A smaller community adjacent to or within commuting distance of a city.
Bural In relating to, or characteristic of the countryside rather than the town.
Boundary A line that marks the limits of an area, a dividing line.
