How did Henry Woodward help SC colony survive? He had a relationship with the indians. Because of that, he helped the colonists set up a deer hide trade.
How did the colonists survive first winter? By buying food from the indians.
What was the impact of the geography on the growth and development of SC in early colonial period? Harbor, which had ports, which made them money. They shipped out rice, indigo, deer hides, beef/indian slaves.

What role did Anthony Ashley Cooper play in establishing Carolina? Lord proprietor, wrote F.S.C, he got others investing 5 yrs. in the colony, headright method, plan for the city, gave supplies to all colonies.
How did the Fundamental Constitutions attempt to restrict democracy in Carolina? Set up a class system, wealthy had political control.
