COMMONWEALTH A self–governing territory associated with another country.
INITIATIVE A petition process by which voters can put a proposed constitutional amendment on the ballot.
COMMAND ECONOMY A system in which the central government makes all economic decisions.
DEVELOPED COUNTRIES Countries with a strong economy and a high quality of life.
DEVELOPING COUNTRIES Countries with less productive economies and a lower quality of life.
GOODS Objects or materials that people can buy to satisfy their needs and wants.
GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT The total value of all the goods and services produced in a country in one year.
