These are words that will be on your Ancient China test.

Climate the usual weather of a place such as the climate that helped crops grow in China
Conquer to take control of land by force such as when the Qin conquered other states
Ethical doing what is right and fair which was important in Confucian teachings
Rebellion a fight against the government such as when people rebelled against unfair rulers
Calligrapher a person skilled at writing beautiful Chinese characters
Bind to tie together such as binding bamboo strips to make early Chinese books
Hereditary passed down in a family such as power that stayed in one ruling family
