TermDefinition
Title 1 Requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants or employees, prohibiting discrimination in hiring, promotions, and benefits.
TItle 2 Prohibits discrimination by all public entities, including state/local government services, programs, and transportation, requiring accessibility in all public services.
Title 3 Mandates that private entities such as restaurants, hotels, theaters, and retail stores make their facilities accessible and provide reasonable modifications.
