| Asia | The world’s largest and most diverse continent. Asia has both the highest and the lowest points on the surface of Earth, has the longest coastline of any continent, and is subject overall to the world’s widest climatic extremes. |
| Plain | a large area of flat land with few trees. (North China Plain) |
| Sea | Seas are smaller than oceans and are usually located where the land and ocean meet (East China Sea, Yellow Sea & South China Sea) |
| River | A river is a natural flowing watercourse, usually freshwater, flowing towards an ocean, sea, lake or another river. (Yangtze River & Yellow River) |
| Mt. Everest | Mount Everest has the highest elevation on Earth. The mountain is located in the central Himalayas on the border of Tibet and Nepal. |
| Plateau | A plateau is a flat, elevated landform that rises sharply above the surrounding area on at least one side. (Mongolian Plateau & Plateau of Tibet) |
| Desert | a desert is land that is dry/arid and receives very little precipitation. (Gobi Desert, Tian Shan Desert & Taklamakan Desert) |
| Himalayas | a mountain range extending about 1500 miles (2400 km) along the border between India and Tibet. (Mt. Everest is its highest peak) |
