Causes of World War I and US Invovlement

What was one requirement of the Treaty of Versailles? Germany was forced to surrender about 10% of its territory.
What new defensive tool was widely used in World War I? Trenches were used as a major defensive tool in World War I.
What was an important part of Woodrow Wilson’s Fourteen Points? Freedom of travel on the seas was an important part of the Fourteen Points.
What are alliances? Partnerships that join together for a common cause.
A member from what group assassinated Archduke Francis Ferdinand and his wife? A member from the Black Hand.
What was one action that causes America to join the war? The sinking of the British passenger ship, the Lusitania and other acts of terror.

What was the most devastating tools during World War I? Trenches and chemical warfare
What are trenches? Trenches are long, deep ditches dug as protective defenses.
