act A law.
boycott To protest by refusing to use or buy a good or service.
delegates a person who represents others at a convention or conference.
First Continental Congress the meeting of delegates from 12 colonies, held to present complaints about King George III, to set up a boycott of British goods, and to arrange a second meeting if needed
import to bring into a country, especially for sale
massacre the murder of several or many people who cannot defend themselves
Parliament the lawmaking part of the British government, similar to the Congress in the United States
proclamation an official public announcement
protest an action that shows disapproval or objection to something
repel to cancel, or undo, a law
Taxation without Representation Being required to pay taxes by a government without having a representative in the government.
