Let's learn about the different seasons during the Nile River flood cycle!

Describe in 4 words what February to June in Egypt weather is like. Harvest season (very hot)
Akhet (June to October)- Describe using a complete sentence. Flood season- Fields are flooded and fertilized by the new batch of rich silt. Time when many farmers did jobs like canal repair, quarrying, and pyramid building.
Peret (October to February)- Describe using a complete sentence. Growing season- Waters receded, but the Nile River is high enough to fill irrigation canals; crops were planted and tended.
Shemu (February to June)- Describe using a complete sentence. Harvest season- Crops are harvested and sent to market.
