Human Rights Basic rights and freedoms all people deserve simply for being human.
Equality Treating all people fairly and giving them the same rights and opportunities.
Discrimination Unfair treatment of a person or group based on identity or background.
Freedom The ability to think, speak, and act without unfair control or punishment.
Dignity The belief that every person has value and deserves respect.
Justice Fair treatment under the law and consequences for wrongdoing.
Genocide The intentional attempt to destroy an entire group of people.
Crimes Against Humanity Large-scale violence or abuse committed against civilians.
Persecution Ongoing mistreatment of a group because of beliefs or identity.
Propaganda Biased or misleading information used to influence opinions.
Hate Speech Language that attacks or promotes harm toward a group.
Refugee A person forced to flee their country due to violence or persecution.
Asylum Protection given by a country to someone fleeing danger.
Ethnic Group People who share a common culture, language, or ancestry.
Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) A 1948 document listing basic rights all people should have worldwide.
War Crimes Serious violations of international laws during war.
