assimilation the process through which a person or group becomes part of a different culture
cabinet a group of people who advise the leader of a government

political party an organized group of people with shared beliefs who work together to elect officials and shape government decisions
republic a government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected representatives responsible to them and governing according to law
secede to separate from a nation and become independent
sedition speech that encourages people to go against the government
