Bicameral A two house legislature

Ordinance a decree or order

Executive Branch responsible for implementing and enforcing laws passed by Congress. Headed by the President
Electoral College The Electoral College is the process through which the President and Vice President of the United States are elected
Judicial Branch responsible for interpreting laws and applying them to cases.
Checks and balance the system designed by the framers to prevent any one branch of government from becoming too powerful, by vesting each branch with specific powers that allow it to check, or limit, the powers of the other two
