Hieroglyphics The written language of Ancient Egypt
Irrigation The process of artificially applying water to land or soil to help plants grow, especially in areas that don't get enough natural rainfall to support crops.
Papyrus Papyrus is a plant that grows in the Nile River, and people in ancient Egypt used parts of it to make a paper-like material for writing.
Pyramids Large, triangular-shaped buildings with a flat base and sides that come together at a point on top.
Nile River The Nile River is a very long river in Egypt that provides water for people, animals, and plants.
