Vocabulary On Theme

QuestionAnswer
Determine To find out or decide something by thinking or calculating
Theme The main message, lesson, or idea in a story or text.
Central Idea The most important point or concept that a text is about.
Analyze To carefully examine or look at something closely
Objecctive focusing solely on factual information without opinion
Summarize to briefly tell the main joints of a story or text in your own words
Stated directly said in the text
implied suggested or hinted at without being directly said
Convey to communicate or make an idea, feeling, or message
Develop a character, setting, plot, grows or changes over time
