Physical Geography
| Term | Definition |

| Mountains | The elevation from the Earth’s crust making a landform called mountains |
| Hills | Similar to a mountain, but a lot shorter and a naturally raised land thats bit above sea level. |
| Rivers | A large, natural body of usually freshwater that flows downhill due to gravity from its source on high ground to a larger body of water like an ocean, lake, or another river. |
| Deserts | A desert is a very dry area that has sparse vegetation and typically has little rain or water sources. |
| Cataract | A large or a series of waterfalls in the physical geographical terrains, most commonly in a stringed together. |
| Sea | A body of salt water, smaller than a ocean and partially surrounded by land. They moderate earth’s climate. |
| Gulf | A large body of water that is an extension of an ocean or sea and forms a deep indentation into a landmass. An oasis is a fertile body of water in the middle of a desert. |
| Oasis | An oasis is a fertile body of water in the middle of a desert. |
| Delta | A delta is a flat area of land made from sediment that a river deposits as it flows into a larger body of water. |
| Valley | An area of land that lies between two mountains or hills. It may have water flowing through it. |
