| Edward Braddock | a British officer and commander-in-chief for the Thirteen Colonies during the start of the French and Indian War |
| Marquis de Montcalm | a French Royal Army officer best known for his unsuccessful defense of New France during the French and Indian War |
| James Wolfe | a British Army officer known for his training reforms and, as a major general, remembered chiefly for his victory in 1759 over the French at the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in Quebec |
| Treaty of Paris of 1763 | Treaty that ended the French and Indian War in which France surrendered Canada and its claims to Britain |
| Pontiac | an Odawa war chief who led Pontiac's War, a significant Native American uprising against British rule in the Great Lakes region following the French and Indian War |
