The Constitution has a system of checks and balances to prevent any one branch from controlling the government
The U.S. is a republic because because it has a form of government in which the people elect representatives to govern the country.
The delegates agreed to strengthen the federal system saying that the national and state governments would share power.
The Senate is the House that has equal representation from each state
House of Representatives is the house that has representation based on each state’s population.
