Legal Permanent Resident Someone who permanently lives in the US but is not a citizen
Immigration Someone who moves from one country to another country
Law of Blood If your parents are citizens, you are a US citizen
Law of Soil If you are born of US soil, you are a US citizen
Selective Service Men between 18 and 25 are signed up and can be drafted into a war if needed

Oligarchy Country is ruled by a small group of rulers
Autocracy When one person has complete control over country and citizens
Anarchy No one rules
Socialism Every citizen in the country is equal and citizens own all means of production
Communism Government controls the whole economy
Natural Rights People are given rights to life, liberty, and property
