The American Revolution

Mercenary (adjective) a paid soldier who serves in the armed forces of a foreign country.
Recruit (verb )to enlist in the military; to hire people for jobs.
Transfer (verb to move.

Inflation (noun) when it takes more and more money to buy the same amount of goods; increase in price of goods or services.
Aid (verb) to help.
Desert ( verb) to leave without permission or intent to come back.
Issue (noun) a subject that people have different views about; to deliver or hand out.
Blockade (noun) an action used to keep a country from communicating and trading with other nations; to close off a country's ports.
Privateer (noun) privately owned ship outfitted with weapons.
Impact (noun) an effect.
Sustain (verb) to suffer or experience.
Siege (noun) an attempt to force surrender by blocking the movement of people or goods into or out of a place; military blockade.
Ratify (verb) to vote approval of.
Ambush (verb) an attack in which the attacker hides and surprises the enemy.
Strategy (noun) a plan of action; a careful plan or method.
Pursue (verb) to proceed with.
