Alliance agreement between nations or groups to aid and support one other.
Blockade shutting a port or roadway to prevent people or supplies from coming into or leaving an area
Boycott organized campaign to refuse to buy or use certain goods and services
Enlist to sign up for military duty
Guerilla fighter who works as part of a small band to make hit and run attacks
Mercenary soldier who fights merely for pay, often for a foreign country
Militia organized body of armed volunteers
Minutemen colonial militia volunteer who was prepared to fight at a minute’s notice
Repeal to cancel
Traitor person who betrays his or her country or cause and helps the other side
