What is the US Consitution? The Constitution, is a document that guides every law that is passed in our country.
What is an amendment? An amendment is a change or addition to the Constitution.
What is the Bill of Rights? The first 10 amendments to the United States Constitution.
How many Amendments do we have today? 27
What is the First Amendment? The First Amendment protects several basic freedoms in the United States including freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to assemble, and the right to petition the government.
What freedom prevents the government from punishing people for expressing their opinions? Freedom of speech
