Lenni Lenape

Sweat lodge a large structure where the Lenape held ceremonies to communicate with spirits.
Wigwam a home that was small and round.
Longhouse a home was rectangular and could be up to 60ft long.
Vision Quest was when a 12 year old would go to a quiet place alone without food or water to seek their guardian spirit.
Role of the women in the tribe they made pots, baskets, rugs, and clothing.
Role of the men in the tribe they hunted and made tools.
Food of the Lenape corn, squash, fish beans, and deer.
Storytelling the Lenape told stories and carved pictures onto bark to pass down their history.
