Social Perspectives

| Functionalism | The idea that all aspects of society serve a purpose. |
| Symbolic Interactionism | We give meaning to what we see in the world / Meaning is shaped by personal experiences |
| Conflict Theory | Emphasizes conflict, competition, and constraints in society / Looks at disagreements in society |
