Enduring Issues Definitions

TermDefinition
conflict a serious disagreement between individuals, groups of people, or even nation
power influence or control over the behavior of people
inequity is a lack of fairness or justice
innovation a new method of addressing a problem (ex: technology to improve farming)
interconnectedness state of having connections or relationships with other people
impact of ideas and beliefs shape the way we look at the world and are influenced by our observation, religion, parents, books, or friends etc
environmental impact the area around us in which we live
scarcity state of not having enough of something (ex: water, food, land)
enduring issue a problem or challenge that has persisted throughout history, continuing to be debated and discussed across different societies and time periods
