Why is hearing important for driving? To recognize hazards like horns and sirens.
Is it legal to wear headsets or earplugs in both ears while driving? No, it is illegal.
How do fatigue and drowsiness affect driving? They slow reaction time and impair vision.
Why is alertness critical for driving? To quickly decide on the best course of action, especially during unexpected situations.
Why must you check the side effects of medications before driving? Some can impair driving by causing drowsiness or other unsafe symptoms.
What are the hand positions for hand-to-hand steering (push/pull)? Hands should be at 9 and 3 o'clock or 8 and 4 o'clock.
When should you use hand-over-hand steering? During low-speed turns, parking, or recovering from skids.
What are the two scenarios where one-hand steering is acceptable? When backing up or operating vehicle controls.
When should you use vehicle signals? When turning, changing lanes, slowing down, or stopping.

What steps should you take if your vehicle has trouble on the road? Turn on flashers, pull off the road if possible, ensure visibility, and wait for help in the vehicle.
