What is a parliament? A group of lawmakers, it's like our Congress
What does the phrase “ no taxation without representation” mean? We cannot be taxed without representation within your parliament.
What does boycott mean? To refuse to buy goods and services
Why did the colonists boycott British goods? To force British Parliament to end the Stamp Act tax
What did the colonists boycott? British goods
What was the Quartering Act? Colonists had to pay for housing for British soldiers
Why were the British so angry about the Boston Tea Party? Colonists dumped 342 crates of tea into the ocean as a protest
