How did Lowell contribute to the Industrial Revolution? He created the 1st factory that combined spinning and weaving.
Who were the "Lowell Girls?" Girls age 15-35 who worked in Lowell mills, 73 hours a week, and 6 days per week.
How did corporations help the Industrial Revolution? Allowed factories to grow,
What were the positive effects of the Industrial Revolution? Created Jobs, boosted the economy, cities grew, empowered women
