Declaration of Independence. The document that caused the 13 original colonies independence from great britain.
Democracy A system of government where the people have the right to rule
Stamp Act A tax on printed stuff to the 13 original colonies from great britain.
Intolerable Acts 4 laws by great britain to punish the 13 original colonies.
Boston Tea Party A protest about the tax on tea.
Colonies An area under control of another country that is usually far away.
