Why is the period from 1550-1650 considered Spain's golden age? The period from 1550-1650 is considered Spain's Golden Age due to its immense cultural, political, and economic influence.
How did Louis XIV change France? Louis XIV changed France by making the king the most powerful person in the country. He took control from the nobles and made sure they depended on him by keeping them at his big palace in Versailles.
