Enlightenment Ilustración: un movimiento europeo durante el siglo XVIII que se centró en la libertad para las personas.
John Locke John Locke: un filósofo que creía en las leyes naturales. También pensaba que las personas debían elegir a sus propios líderes.
Natural Rights Derechos naturales: los derechos de “vida, libertad y propiedad”.
Reason Razón: el uso de la lógica y el buen juicio para tomar decisiones y hacer descubrimientos.
Rousseau Rousseau: un filósofo que creía que los gobiernos funcionaban mejor cuando hay un contrato social.
Social contract Contrato social: acuerdo en el que las personas renuncian a ciertos derechos a favor del gobierno a cambio de protección y otros beneficios.
Reform Reforma: hacer cambios para mejorar o eliminar cosas dañinas.
