Understanding Geography

QuestionAnswer
How can geographers pinpoint exact location? By finding the intersection of latitude and longitude. (Grid System).
Why do mapmakers create different types of map projections? To show either the correct shapes of places or their correct sizes.
When geographers look at how people have shaped our world, which of the Six Essential Elements of Geography are thy studying? Human systems.
What type of map would show the names and borders of countries? Political map.
What is culture? The set of beliefs, behaviors and traits shared by a group of people.
