letters, diaries and government records are good when you need secondary sources? These are NOT EXAMPLES of secondary sources, letters, diaries and government records are great for primary sources instead.
To learn the answers to historical questions historians are good for? Look for evidence
The study of history can help us make decisions about the future because? Historical circumstances of conflict and cooperation are examples we can learn from.
What is anthropology? The study of human culture and how it develops overtime.
What is archaeology? The study of objects to learn about past human life.
What is an artifact? An object made by people.
What is a conclusion? A decision reached after the examination of evidence.
What is a scholarly? Concerned with academic learning or research.
What is a primary source? A historian needs to evaluate a primary source to decide if it was a trustworthy point of view. An example is a cave painting.
What is a secondary source? They are created after the event. A biography of a pharaoh would be an example of a secondary source.
What is a decade? A group of ten years. Ten of these ten years would be considered as a century.
What is a reliable source? Is written from a trustworthy point of view.
