| Conclusion | A decision reached after the examination of evidence. |
| Scholarly | Concerned with academic learning or research. |
| Primary Source | A historian needs to evaluate a primary source to decide if it has a trustworthy point of view. It is a firsthand account or piece of evidence to an event in history. An example is a cave painting. |
| Secondary Source | They are created after the event. A biography of a pharaoh would be an example of secondary source. |
| Decade | A group of ten years. Ten decades is 100 years, a century. |
| Reliable Source | Is written from a trustworthy point of view. |
| How can you be sure that the information you found on the internet while researching is indeed from a reliable resource? | Use web addresses that end in .gov, .edu and .org. You also should make sure that they have an author. |
| List the steps you would take to complete a history research project. | - Select a topic. - Create note cards. - Gather resources- books, research on the internet etc. - Look for signs of bias. |
