Rule Changes for 2024-2025 (Pages 3 & 61-62)

Modified an optional 10-ft circle in the center of the mat No longer need 10ft circle - new mats have special designs
Modified that only 1 point of contact by either wrestler meets the requirement of being inbounds. 1 point of contact can earn takedown, near fall, and fall - give no chance of surface and it's safe
Modified the scoring of near fall points. 4 second count = 4 points, 3 second count = 3 points, 2 second count = 2 points
Modified the points of a takedown 3 points for takedown now
Clarified how a technical fall is scored Once an offensive wrestler takes the defensive out of near fall criteria - the technical fall will be called immediately and the match will be over
