Ancient Egypt

Silt Fine sand, clay, or other material carried by running water and deposited as a sediment, especially in a channel or harbor.
Fertile Producing or capable of producing abundant vegetation or crops.
Barrier A fence or other obstacle that prevents movement of access.
Agriculture The science or practice of farming, including cultivation of the soil for the growing of crops and the rearing of animals to provide food, wool, and other products.
Religion The belief in and worship of a superhuman power or powers, especially of a God or gods.
Celestial Positioned in or relating to the sky, or outer space as observed in astronomy.
Afterlife Life after death
Rituals The prescribed order of performing a ceremony, especially one characteristic of a particular religion or church.
Pyramids A monumental structure with a square or triangular base and sloping sides that meet in a point at the top, used for royal tombs.
Tombs A monument to the memory of a dead person, constructed over their burial place.
Hieroglyphics Ancient Egyptian picture writing
Papyrus Material prepared from the stem of a water plant used in sheets for writing or painting on and also making rope, sandals, and boats.
Mummification Drying of a dead body to keep it from rotting.
Bureaucracy Administrative organization with officials and procedures; type of government used in ancient Egypt.
Vizier Person in charge of a bureaucracy
Chariot Horse drawn vehicles used for war
