| Silt | Fine sand, clay, or other material carried by running water and deposited as a sediment, especially in a channel or harbor. |
| Fertile | Producing or capable of producing abundant vegetation or crops. |
| Barrier | A fence or other obstacle that prevents movement of access. |
| Agriculture | The science or practice of farming, including cultivation of the soil for the growing of crops and the rearing of animals to provide food, wool, and other products. |
| Religion | The belief in and worship of a superhuman power or powers, especially of a God or gods. |
| Celestial | Positioned in or relating to the sky, or outer space as observed in astronomy. |
| Afterlife | Life after death |
| Rituals | The prescribed order of performing a ceremony, especially one characteristic of a particular religion or church. |
| Pyramids | A monumental structure with a square or triangular base and sloping sides that meet in a point at the top, used for royal tombs. |
| Tombs | A monument to the memory of a dead person, constructed over their burial place. |

| Papyrus | Material prepared from the stem of a water plant used in sheets for writing or painting on and also making rope, sandals, and boats. |
| Mummification | Drying of a dead body to keep it from rotting. |
| Bureaucracy | Administrative organization with officials and procedures; type of government used in ancient Egypt. |
