What was the Cold War? What countries were involved in the Cold War? COLD WAR was a competition of dominance involved US VS SOUTHERN UNION
How did Jim Crow laws affect voting for African Americans in southern states? It prevented African Americans from voting
What was the Civil Rights Movement? 50s and 60s; movement for equality for African Americans
What was the Civil Rights Act of 1964? Ban/ get rid of Discrimination in public places
What was the Voting Rights Act of 1965? Ban discrimination in the polls or in voting based on on race,,and religion
What is the significance of September 11, 2001? The day of the largest terrorist attack on American soil on World Trade Center attacked by Ben Laden
