| Mountains | A mountain is a landmass that projects conspicuously above its surroundings and is higher than a hill |
| Hills | A naturally raised land, that is not as high as a mountain. |
| river | A body of water that flows into a ocean or lake. |
| Deserts | Deserts are a hot and sandy area that is does not have rain very often. Deserts are home to many species of wildlife and plants. |
| Cataracts | Cataracts are when rocks pile up and the river has to stream through it. |
| Sea | The expanse of salt water that covers most of the earth’s surface. |
| Gulf | deep arm of of the sea almost surrounded by land |
| Oasis | A desert (area of sand) that has water surrounding it. |
| Delta | A Delta is multiple wetlands that formed into small rivers that eventually dump into a bigger body of water. |
| Valley | A valley Is the low land that sits between hills and or mountains. Valleys usually have a river or a stream flowing through it. |
